Liverpool FC Official Store Opening

On January 10, Liverpool Football Club opened their first official store in Singapore at Bugis Junction in partnership with sports retailer Weston Corp. 

The event was graced by Liverpool former player Luis García and Her Excellency Kara Owen, British High Commissioner to Singapore, who cut the ribbon to officiate the store’s opening. 

The store brings the magic of Anfield to fans in Singapore and the region by offering an extensive collection of jerseys, apparel and merchandise, a replica of The Shankly Gates and a collection of not-for-sale LFC memorabilia. 

The first 50 Kopites to arrive at the store that morning were given special passes to enjoy a meet and greet session with Luis García. All fans were given the opportunity to take photos with  the coveted Champions League trophy. 

Over 18 pieces of coverage were generated – both print and online – from The Straits Times, Yahoo! News, Fox Sports Asia, The New Paper, Goal.com and Mothership.com, to name a few.
